We have lots to say and evaluate in pursuit of the ultimate gaming chair. So now that we've finished the quick introductions of our main contestants, let's go a bit more in-depth with the reviews.

The ultimate gaming chair list:
'8+2' picks for any budget & preferences

1. Best choice for casual gamers:
Corsair WW T1

Corsair T1 Race

The Corsair T1 Race Gaming Chair looks like something you’d see in a futuristic office in a movie. It doesn’t really have that gamer feel and look but it definitely has the features that all gamers look for, if we go by the packaging.

So, one thing we noticed immediately when looking at a picture of the chair? The high and broad shoulders - a bit more than what you'd see in other similar priced chairs. Usually they go for a slimmer (and not always as comfortable) look and feel.

It's up to personal preference, but we believe Corsair have nailed a very unique and recognizable design that just works for the casual gaming enthusiast.

So, it’s great for tall people and it has a really nice base, what else does it have to offer?

Compared to many other gaming chairs in similar budgets, you have a fully 180 degree lean back tilt range here.

Paired with the 4D movement armrests, this allows for unmatched flexibility of movement. I'm not sure how you spend your gaming sessions, but I do like adjusting my posture and exploring new positions to play in.

Such a tilt range means you can almost double up Corsair's WW T1 as a bed when you're really tired. Usually that's a feature reserved for more expensive gaming chairs.

(The same applies for the 4D armrest technology, by the way).

Great build quality, fantastic movement/flexibility, taller backrest and a comfy, wider-set seat...There's a plethora of reasons why we're huge fans of the WW T1.

2. Top premium recliner choice:
Secretlab Titan 2020

Yes, we know the new EVO series from 2022 combines both the Titan and Omega into a gaming chair that's nothing less than pure art.

However, the 2020 Titan still kicks ass and we judged you'll love it because it comes at a discount now that the EVO is out.

Where should we start from?

First of all, body dimension compatibility: The standard Titan model will be comfortable for you as long as you're within 285 lbs (130kg) and measure up to 6'6" (2 meters).

Secretlab kicked off the 4D armrest revolution with their metallized design that allows for maximum comfort when resting your arms. While some brands have introduced their own 4D armrests, I've yet to some someone making a design as sleek as Secretlab.

Much like the AKRacing Masters Series we'll discuss later, the Titan 2020 comes with high-quality cold-cured foam. This is an improved version of the usual foam you have as padding on most chairs for gamers.

What's the difference?

Well, for one - cold-cured foam is way more reactive to your movements. The material sets itself quicker and smoother when you sit; when you stand up, it recoils and preserves its form. The mechanism resembles those luxury memory foam pillows you can find at ridiculous prices.

As a proper recliner, the Titan 2020 has an extended reclining angle, While it doesn't go as far as the Corsair WW T1, it still delivers you up to 165 degrees of reclining. You control that through a neatly designed tilt knob:

One thing we'd specifically want to praise is the hydraulics element here. Hands down, the Class 4 gas piston you find supporting the Titan's movement is some kind of magic. Smooth movement, paired with longevity. Simply amazing, and we haven't seen any issues with it after years of usage.

Secretlab have always been perfect in the warranty department. You get a base 3-year warranty (standard for many manufacturers). However, you can extend it to up to 5 years - and that is very rare to see.

3. Best gaming chair on a budget:
Homall Chair

For those of you looking for a strong, comfortable and reliable chair but you don’t really have the budget to go all out on some expensive multi hundred-dollar chair, there’s the Homall option.

Rated as an utter top-seller, it's one of the most economical/budget-friendly chairs out there on the market. It comes in different colors for basic customizability too.

Don't expect Noblechairs-levels of customizations - but it's still better than a single-option model, right?

The wheels on the base caught our attention first. They’re a nice stylish touch and the hubcaps look like mini-racing wheels. They don’t make a lot of noise on the floor and have a smooth rolling traction.

The lumbar cushion on this chair is extra-large and super soft to the touch. It fits nicely when you lean back and just need that added extra layer of support.

The wide stance of the base on the chair allows for people of up to 300 pounds to sit on it. People at 6 feet or more wouldn't feel restricted by this recliner's size.

At its price range, Homall looks like a decent company. Customer support is there, but we would like more accurate information about the warranty of this chair. As it stands, it has a 1-year warranty, but some people have been complaining about unclear terms.

4. Best audio chair for console gamers:
X Rocker Pro Series Pedestal 2.1

X-Rocker Pedestal 2.1 is one of the best gaming chairs for 2022 we can think about.

Another in a long line of chairs made by X Rocker, the Pro Series Pedestal 2.1 represents a continuation of the quality, thoughtfulness, and usability that have made other chairs by this manufacturer so popular.

The wireless Pedestal 2.1 provides an updated ergonomic design that works incredibly well for a range of heights and sizes. The built-in radio wireless receiver comes with a transmitter that can work with any source around the house.

In other words, get ready for a full-blown audio fiesta and never-ending sonic entertainment!

RCA stereo outputs and optional RCA cables are also included. Included in the chair are two speakers as well as a sub-woofer that utilize 2.1 AFM technology to create a truly immersive sound experience. Along with the ability to connect multiple game chairs.

The Pro Series Pedestal 2.1 gaming chair separates itself from the crowd by being excellent at a suite of activities. You can watch TV in an immersive environment, read, listen to music, and of course, play video games.

If you want to see some other X-Rocker options, we also have an article on the best X-Rocker chairs too.

5. Best DXRacer mid-budget chair pick:
Formula Series FD01

DXRacer Formula Series DOH/FD01/NR

The Formula Series FD01 continues the trend of DXRacer making affordable racing style chairs for the modern gamer. Well, the price tag leans towards mid-budget options, but for the quality you're getting we believe the word 'affordable' is appropriate.

Having learned from previous models, the DX Racer FD01/NE is more comfortable and efficient with space, creating a lightweight and free looking design.

An extended backrest is included to help cushion your neck and spine while special soft armrests help to protect wrists and shoulders.

Coming in a number of color options and usable in anything from gaming to working at home or watching media, the DXRacer Formula Series is sure to help you not only relax in your activity but to also enhance the overall experience.

Universal casters, adjustable seat flexibility, lifetime warranty on the frame, integrated headrest, and tilt mechanism: all these are just a portion of all the features seamlessly integrated into this gaming chair.

DXRacer are copied in terms of design by countless no-name brands. You can see why. Their formula just works, and the Formula Series FD01 is the pinnacle of the brand's art of manufacture.

6. Top Gaming x Office chair design option:
Arozzi Vernazza

Arozzi chairs' Vernazza beauty is one of the better blends between a full-blown gaming chair and a recliner suitable for any office environment.

With the Vernazza chair, Swedish brand Arozz show a rather unique take on recliner design. This beauty is the perfect blend between a gaming and an office chair: it'll feel at home in both environments.

One of the most distinctive features here is the fabric.

Ever had one of those extra smooth sofas? Vernazza has the same material all over it - breathable, soft to the touch, and quite stylish.

The specifically designed fabric is also very quiet. We've all heard those squeaks when you re-position yourself in most PU or leather chairs. You'll see none of this here, as you silently readjust your positioning in this ergonomic piece of art.

While not 4D, the armrests here are 3-dimensional. This is miles ahead most pure office chairs and wins over quite a few mid-budget game chair designs too.

Thank god the armrests aren't rounded. I haven't seen many chairs where rounder shapes have made more ergonomic sense than the flatter, rectangle design you can see in Vernazza.

You'll feel very comfortable in this chair as long as you're under 320lbs/145kg. That's quite the limit - not many racing chairs (or office furniture, to be honest) would go that high.

The color design is pretty neat too. Once you remove the support pillows (1x headrest + 1x lumbar) you have a chic chair that could be seen in any executive suite. For gamers who want something more plain, yet stylish - Arozzi has the exact answer to your needs.

7. Best wide-seated chair for gamers:
AKRacing Masters Series Max

AKRacing Masters Series Max is our best pick for the best chair for gamers with a wider seat and bigger capacity.

This one's a real monster. Owing to its 'Max' nature, the AKRacing beast has a capacity of up to 400lbs (181kg). No exaggerations - this makes it the absolute king in its price range, if you're a heavier gamer looking for proper comfort and ergonomics.

Did I mention that the official specifications are 5'6'' to 6'6'' (2 meters)?

It's not all about the size, though.

First of all, AKRacing has did what Secretlabs do with their higher-end recliners. I'm talking about the cold-cured foam which forms the chair's padding.

Unlike your standard foam, this one lasts longer, reacts better to you sitting or standing up from the chair, and provides a way more comfortable cushioning. Get on a Lexus or a luxury car and spend some time on its seats.

You get the same experience sitting in the Masters Series Max. Both the Lexus and AKRacing's behemoth use the same materials, after all.

The armrests are 4D here, matching up to industry leaders in the gaming chair department. Flat, durable design made to withstand higher than usual pressure.

The metal frame has been manufactured to durability perfection. AKRacing has taken their 'jumbo' product to heart and made sure it'll pass the test of time.

One nitpick: The PU leather. Somehow we feel it would have been even better if the AKRacing was shipped with NAPA leather to complete the luxury experience. Considering the price range, it feels a bit sad to see the chair featuring PU upholstery.

In any case, though, it's great to have a chair targeted at bigger gamers. There aren't that many viable choices above a certain weight and height. AKRacing helps out immensely with the Masters Series Max.

8. Best racing-style gaming chair for heavy weights:
Clutch Throttle

Clutch Gaming chair red

The Clutch Throttle is a relatively newish chair from an up-and-coming brand. It also stays true to the cliched design of racing chairs. Cliched or not, there's a huge amount of gamers who are looking for this exact style.

The inspiration taken from DXRacer chairs here is palpable. Note that we're talking about 'inspiration', not blatant copying. You can see the latter with many cheap knock-offs. While Clutch resembles its big brother of racing chairs, the brand has managed to pave their own path in terms of proper ergonomics and quality.

The comfort level of the chair is awesome. The padding on the base where you sit your rear end on is pretty impressive.

With a wider base and elongated backseat, this particular model was born to serve taller, heavier gamers. ClutchChairz tout it as withstanding up to 2000 pounds. Marketing exaggeration or not, it's a fact the Throttle is more durable and heavyweight than most competitors in its niche.

ClutchChairz and their Throttle series racing chair for gamers make it in our list of the ultimate gaming chair. Here's why we decided to add it!

To be more exact in practical terms, the chair is optimal even at 350 lbs. That's already ~10% higher than comparable recliners or racing chairs which cap at around 320 to 330 lbs.

A part of this toughness comes from the ultra durable 350mm on the base. Paired with the tubular steel frame and well-designed casters, even bigger gamers will have all the support they need.

The neck and spinal support are also impressive with the high rise comfortable neck padding. The armrests - 4-directional, by the way, are surprisingly comfortable as well.

The material used here is nice. It's nothing too fancy, but retains breathability through its quality polyurethane manufacture.

Last but not least, the Throttle gaming chair comes in 15+ exciting designs. If you're tired of the usual Red x Black racing chair combo, you can go with something more unique and exciting.

9. Top pick for racing sim cockpit:
Openwheeler GEN3

This GEN3 model from Openwheeler defines the niche of simulation cockpits. Out of the box, it's fully compatible with the leading consoles on the market. It's also compatible with your good ol' PC simulators too.

The paintwork of the chair is well-made, so you won’t need to worry about paint chipping or wearing down on you.

You have complete leg support with the padded sides of the base on the chair. You also have back support with extra padding on the sides of the back of the chair to help you lay back and relax.

Very important fact to note: the fabric is extra breathable. With some cockpits, you risk those dreaded gamer sweats - especially when it's about adrenaline-filled racing sims. GEN3 copes well with keeping your back ventiled and helping you focus on what's important.

There’s even a bar on the side of the chair that allows for the mounting of a gear shifter.

There’s a base at the bottom of the chair that holds your feet and it’s also where you place your racing game pedals.

The overall item weight of the chair isn’t too heavy. Thus, it's not hard to move it from room to room. It only weighs 55 pounds when it’s put together and yes, there is some level of assembly required. However, the assembly is generally quicker than similar cockpit competitors and it’s done in just a few simple steps.

All the of the tools required to put the chair together are packaged together with the chair. Add-ons are sold separate, though, which is something we don't really like.

The main topic of this article isn't sim cockpits, though. If you want more options, head over to our post discussing the best gaming chairs for racing sims.

10. Another popular cheap gaming chair:
GTracing Chair

GTRACING Gaming Chair image

This is another option if you're on a very strict budget and want something decently ergonomic.

The GTRacing chair features a metal frame and is easy to clean due to its artificial yet realistic-looking leather. It also comes complete with a removable headrest pillow as well as a lumbar cushion.

The chair is able to rock back and forth, and its armrest and seat height can be adjusted with ease. Able to swivel 360 degrees, the chair has a 5-point base with decently manufactured casters.

It has a maximum weight capacity of 330 pounds.

For its price point, GTRacing features more than acceptable ergonomics. The backrest is of medium softness. Obviously, it won't be as comfortable during lengthier gaming sessions as the more premium contestants we introduced earlier in the article.

The gas lift is Class 3, so also a very good take for a budget chair for gaming. The 3D armrests feel plasticky, but they do the job in a satisfactory manner.

All in all, if you're strapped for cash - this is a decently worthy competitor of the Homall chair we already discussed. It's also featured in our DXRacer alternatives article.

Factors to consider when buying the ultimate game chair

When you are considering purchasing one, you need to make a decision that will support a number of criteria.

What is the sole purpose of the gaming chair? Will you be using it for racing or flight simulation? Or do you plan to purchase it to play a number of games as well as for other uses, such as listening to music or watching videos?

Check out the padding that is used in the seat’s design. Will it be sufficiently comfortable? How about the foam used for the chair? Is it made out of a high-quality, fire-retardant material?

If you are buying a chair for your kids, is the seating safe? Will the chair encourage good posture and muscle training and development?

Will you need batteries for the chair? If so, what type of batteries?

What is the weight of the chair? Will it be too bulky for your needs? Or, will it fit in perfectly with your other furnishings?

How about the chair’s color? Make sure you won’t tire of the chair’s hue and choose a color that can be nicely if not neutrally incorporated into your decor.

What is the chair’s capacity? How much weight can the seating hold?

What are the dimensions of the chair? Will the seat fit in your gaming area or office? Consider a chair that fits in your gaming area and leaves enough space for you to move around. Most manufacturers specify the dimensions of each chair.

Is the seat comfortable? The main reason for buying a chair for gaming is to achieve comfort when playing your favorite games. Check if the chair offers maximum support for your back and neck. Chairs with adjustable backrest and footrests are recommended.

Are you getting value for your money? Gamer chairs have different features to suit different gaming needs. You may not need all the features provided by some chairs. Do not spend money on features that you will not need. Consider the features that suit your favorite games when selecting the right chair.

What material is the chair made of? Are the materials used easy to clean and maintain? Will you require any cleaning agents to keep your seat clean? Are the materials durable?

What is the cost of the gamers’ chair? While cost should be among your last considerations when buying these chair, go with a chair within your budget. You can find comfortable chairs with basic features at affordable prices.

How to choose the model?

The wide range of chair designs in the market makes choosing a gaming chair an uphill task for many buyers. The market has different designs of chairs with different features. One common misconception among buyers is that games chairs can only be used for playing video games.

The intended use or purpose should guide your choice of a chair from the wide selection in the market. If you have a gaming room at home and want a chair for just playing games, consider the gaming features when buying one.

The chair should be compatible with your favorite gaming console. However, if you want more than just playing games, consider chair designs that are compatible with home theaters, DVD, CD, and MP3. Think about some Bluetooth-ready models too - X-Rocker has some available.

Another important consideration when choosing a chair design is the amount of space you have in your office or gaming room. The ideal design should fit in your space and leave enough room for you to walk around or place other items. The main reason why you are shopping for a gaming chair instead of using the couch is comfort.

What should one look for in a gamers chair?

Before you shop, determine the type of chair that will suit your needs. That is, do you need a rocker, pedestal, or racing chair? Have the factors listed above in mind as well when shopping for any type of chair. Manufacturers create different designs and styles for each type of chair. Here is what you should be looking for when searching for the best chair:

Gaming Amenities

Many of the chairs have built-in speakers but may also feature foldable arms or sub-woofers as well. Some chairs are made solely for racing games and come with a race wheel mount and racing pedals. Other features might include a wireless feature or a stain-resistant fabric and comfortable cushioning.

Styles

Styles include rockers, bean bags (we have an article on
the best bean bag chairs), desk chairs, gyroscopic chairs and chairs with stands.

Lumbar and head support pillows

When you’re looking for a chair for your office, for your gaming room, for a child or whatever the occasion may be, have you considered aside from comfort, how safe the chair is?

It’s not a well-kept secret that gaming for hours a day or sitting in a computer chair for hours a day isn’t healthy and can lead to long-term health risks down the road.

This is why companies have decided to put more support and more cushioning in their chairs, otherwise known as lumbar and head support pillows. You may have seen these on some chairs or have seen pillows attached to the chairs.

What are the benefits?

Comfort is the number one benefit for adding these pillows to the chairs. They allow people to relax, not feel back pain, not get any pain in their neck or head. You’ll feel relaxed and at ease when you stand up from your chair.

Blood clots are another major concern for not only health advocates but game chair manufacturers as well. It’s always recommended that you get up and stretch once in a while but you still need to have adequate cushioning on your legs, back, neck and body to make sure your blood vessels aren’t being pinched while you’re gaming, or you run the risk of forming blood clots, which can lead to serious complications.

Some gamers report their overall performance in online games improving as well. When you’re more relaxed, it’s a lot easier for you to focus on the game, the sound, the environment and help dominate your opposition.

If you’re worried about the cost of chairs that have lumbar and head support, don’t worry because most chair companies add them for free nowadays. If you’re looking for a serious leg up in the competition, most chairs today will come with two additional pillows that you can attach to the chair or remove based on your personal preferences.

The good news is, most chairs that offer lumbar and head support are customizable so if you want to remove the pillows or slide them down a little bit, you can. These pillows sometimes come in Velcro attachments and very rarely are they stitched to the chair. Finding your perfect fit and comfort zone is priority number one when it comes to selecting the perfect chair for you. Lumbar and head support in a gaming chair should be absolutely essential when making your selection and you shouldn’t settle for any chair that doesn’t have it if you spend a lot of time gaming or sitting in a chair.

Are there any actual health benefits?

There are a large number of people who hesitate at the price of a gamers’ chair compared to an ordinary office chair and this is understandable. However, there are cheap gaming chairs out there that can start out at $40.

What you may not know is that there numerous health benefits to using gaming chairs as well.

Do you think you need a gamer’s chair? Have you noticed any of the following?

1) Your neck seems stiff after gaming
2) You have a sore back after prolonged sitting
3) You can’t seem to find a comfortable sitting position
4) Your chair makes a lot of noise when there’s any kind of movement/too squeaky
5) You feel tired after standing up
6) Most chairs aren’t built for comfort. This is why gaming chairs were invented. They were created to address all of the above.

Sound – There are quite a few electric chairs on the market today that have subwoofers built into the headrests or the side. This can be great for people with ears that easily clog as studies have shown wearing earbuds or a headset for a majority of the day can negatively impact hearing and ear wax buildup.

Back Support – This is one of the most important aspects for a variety of reasons. Most chairs for gamers come with extra soft cushioning built in for back support. Not only does this allow you to game in comfort but it’s also a necessity for people that are in a seated position for an extended period of time on a regular basis. Over time, you can develop chronic back problems if you don’t sit properly or have a properly cushioned seat.

Neck Support – Most chairs aren’t tall enough nor do they offer the design capable of supporting your neck. A proper gamer chair will allow you to easily rest your neck and you won’t strain your spine while you’re gaming. Holding your head up in a normal chair can cause a long list of problems if you do it over an extended period of time.

Fatigue – Sitting improperly and not supporting your lumbar, neck and back can wear your body down quickly. It’s why you feel weak after a long period of gaming in a non-supportive chair. The chairs were made to address this issue and you’ll have more energy.

These chairs were designed with comfort and positive health reinforcement in mind. While we don’t recommend playing video games all day, we do recommend that even casual gamer take their neck and back support seriously while playing games or sitting for extended periods of time.

Types of chairs for gamers

Rocking / floor chairs for gaming

Rocker gaming chairs have an L-shaped design that allows you to lay back as you watch or play games. They have more multimedia features compared to other designs and can be very comfortable when fitted with the right foaming material.

The chairs are fixed on the ground and their design allows you to rock as you watch. Some have built-in tilts and swivels that allow you to adjust the chair until you get the most comfortable posture. The design is ideal if you play games or watch TV in your living room or theatre room at home.

X-Rocker is the leading brand here, as we've noted earlier in our best of article. Some of their models are wired, while others are either wireless or even have Bluetooth connectivity with smart devices.

Chairs for PC gaming

You can do more than play a game on a gamer chair. Pedestal gaming chairs are elevated above the ground and allow you to shift from working to playing games. T

he design is ideal if you play games on your computer or if your TV is elevated a good height above the ground. You can view the screen of your computer or TV directly when sitting on a pedestal chair. Rocker chairs are a bit uncomfortable for older and taller gamers.

Pedestal chairs are ideal for such gamers because they can sit and rise without experiencing any pain on their knees and back.

Computer game chairs have fewer features than most rockers chairs. However, some have ergonomic designs with in-built sound systems and RCA cables. Some designs have speakers and sub-woofers that enable you to listen to music as you work or play games.

The advantage of using a pedestal chair in your office is that it protects you from back pains and eye strains associated with most office seats. In addition, most of these chairs are adjustable to fit different postures. You can lay back and take a nap comfortably on a pedestal chair.

Check out our detailed article about the Best PC Chairs for Gaming. Keep in mind we're extensively focusing on ergonomics in that particular list.

Racing chairs

Racing chairs are specifically designed for racing games. The gaming seats have steering wheels and pedals that give you nearly the same experience of driving a car.

(Note: obviously we don't write about cars here. For any vehicle-related info, we advice you to head over to Stylethority, a project as informative as our site - but in the automotive niche, among others.)

You can brake and accelerate with the in-built pedals and use the shifter to change gears. Like other game chairs, these chair designs have adjustability features so they can accommodate your body better.

Racing chairs from the top brands are compatible with all game consoles and hence you are not limited to racing games. Flight simulators are also a perfect fit.

As a whole, a proper racing chair will make you feel as if you were on the track yourself. Even without a driver's license, you'd be able to experience the thrill of the shifting gears.

Memory foam style

These chairs as the name suggests are made of firm but comfortable foam. The chairs are designed for kids. Kids require a comfortable posture when playing games as well. If you are fond of playing games with your kids, foam chairs are your best buy for their comfort.

Kids generally do not require the extra features that come with rocker and pedestal chairs.

Bean bag style

Bean bag chairs designed for kids and adults alike. These fluffy blobs are usually made of polystyrene beans.

One advantage of bean-bag chairs over memory foam chairs is that they are easy to fold and store. Bean bag chairs are water and resistant and have beautiful colors, as well as a plethora of available sizes.

Bean-bag game chairs can sustain more pressure than memory foam chairs depending on the foam used. (We still prefer standard chair design for prolonged periods of time).

Couches

If you want to share the fun, there's a lot of couches suitable for video gaming. You can pick more compact sofas or you can go all in for some family/friends entertainment. We have a pretty in-depth guide to the appropriate gaming couch choices. Head over and see what tickles your fancy!

Recommended items to complement your gaming chair purchase

1. Atlantic 33950212 Gaming Desk Pro

 Atlantic 33950212 Gaming Desk Pro

Coming in at the top of the list is Atlantic's Gaming Desk Pro. This desk provides an answer to those looking for a highly functional gaming desk with low spacial impact. Jammed full of features the Gaming Desk Pro takes up a meek 52” x 25.25” inch area while maintaining great organizational features.

For such a small desk the Gaming Desk Pro sports a myriad features that help keep it organized, including a storage drawer, smartphone or tablet charging station, storage space for a laptop, two console control stands, speaker stands, a headphone stand, and a nifty wire management system. 2.Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse, 12,000 DPI

When it comes to gaming mice, Logitech is a top dog and the G502 Proteus Spectrum is no exception. Jammed in with some top end features the 502 also comes in at a top end price. If money is no issue and your looking for the best, Logitech should always be on your radar and the G502 is their flagship gaming mouse!

The G502 sports the most intense optical sensor Logitech has produced to date. Which in many ways is unnecessary as the sensor can read and intemperate movements at much higher speeds than any human ability can make use of. Evidenced by the fact that the mouse can be adjusted from a meager 200 DPI to a baffling and totally unusable 12,000. The 502 features 11 programmable buttons, most of which manage to stay out of the way when gaming hard. These buttons are assigned using Logitech's gaming software which is awesome and also allows you to adjust the full RGB lighting housed behind the transparent Logitech logo. The mouse is ergonomically designed and is extremely comfortable in the hand. Lastly and perhaps one of the most useful features of all to the gamer, the G502 has a small amount of on board memory that allows it to save your settings TO THE MOUSE. This means when swapping computers there is no fiddling with settings the mouse takes care of it all.

Altogether the offerings of the Logitch G502 are astounding. This mouse is quite possibly the next MX-500 (sorry for the out dated reference kids) and most of its downsides are easily worked around or gotten used to. If your ready to drop the dough and looking for the best the 502 might be for you!

3.Razer BlackWidow Chroma Gaming Keyboard

Razer BlackWidow Chroma keyboard

Yet another Chroma enabled device from Razer, The BlackWidow RGB mechanical keyboard is a top of the line peripheral for the rave gamer. This keyboard will do everything you need a keyboard to do all while looking badass.

The BlackWidow Chroma features Razer's green mechanical switches which are rated for 80 million clicks and feel extremely rewarding to push. The caps are plastic, but feel good and don't seem to wear quickly. It features 5 programmable macro keys on the left side that can be programmed using Razer's Synapse software. The keyboard though made entirely of plastic feels pretty durable and doesn't creak. Finally it features Razer's 16.8 million customizable Chroma lighting. Allowing users to change the color of any key and of course sync up with any other Chroma devices.

The cons for the BlackWidow are are marginal, but for a product of this price they need to be mentioned. As with most mechanical keyboards, the key clicks are loud. The fonts used on the keys varies from key to key and can be very hard to read. The labeling on the shift keys is gray and is not illuminated from below which makes them also very difficult to read...

Worst of all several of the punctuation keys ( ; ' / . , ) have been swapped around from that a traditional QWERTY layout so the one normally requiring shift no longer does. For example on a normal layout to type a question mark your required to hold shift, on this keyboard holding shift would net you a slash and no shift would make a question mark. To top it all off the whole thing is a fingerprint magnet.

If you've got the cash to fork over to Razer the Blackwidow Chroma is a pretty awesome buy. It does everything a gamer could wish and then some. The minor downsides can easily be overlooked when the blinding Chroma LEDs are shining back in your face. Seriously this is actually a pretty cool application for LEDs, being able to light up just W, A, S, and D at night time would be nice benefit to gamers.

Verdict for the Best Gamer's Chair

With our comprehensive buying guide, we've outlined the most important factors to consider when selecting a gaming chair for your gaming endeavors. The fact is, the chair you choose is likely to have an effect on your overall experience.

It's worth getting one that suits your needs, and there's plenty to set them apart.

Many gamers are willing to spend any amount of money for the best gaming system but are reluctant to spend as much on gaming chairs. Some are unaware of the gaming solutions in the market. The right chair is worth every penny. You will not understand how sitting on the right gaming chair improves your gaming experience until you sit on one.

Our aim is to help you select the one that suits your needs the most.

Marketing messages and promises from manufacturers may confuse new buyers. Along with some internal testing, we review the manufacturer’s specifications and consider other customers’ experiences when recommending gaming chairs and accessories.

Remember to consider the comfort, purpose, weight, color and capacity before making your choice. Each could make it or break it in the long-term when it comes to usability.

Whatever you go for, style and design are also important. You can choose from bean bags, rockers, gyroscopic and desk chairs among others. They all have different pros and cons, but there should be one that catches your eye.

Gamer chairs differ in their features, accessories, and designs. A number are built for specific genres (such as racing), while others plan to get your attention with additional perks. These vary from health benefits to inbuilt speakers.

Some chairs feel a bit gimmicky, and others don't offer enough protection for prolonged use. Don't get a chair just because it looks good, and be sure to check reviews first.

If you're dedicated enough to be purchasing a new chair to go with your hobby, it's worth thinking about everything we've discussed. Most game chairs are relatively expensive, and you don't want to end up with a chair that you don't like, but you're forced to use (or resell.)

Pricing is important. Cheaper chairs often lack features like extra padding and ergonomic support, so it's sometimes better to wait until you can afford a nicer one. The chairs listed above are some of the best available on the market, but some of them will set you back a fair amount (that's why it pays to choose a manufacturer that offers decent warranty options).
